SUTER MEMORANDUM TO THOSE INTENDING TO PREPARE A PETITION FOR A WRIT OF CERTIORARI IN BOOKLET FORMAT AND PAY THE $300 DOCKET FEE.This memorandum is directed to those who intend to prepare a petition for a writ of certiorari in booklet format pursuant to Rule 33.1 and pay the $300 docket fee required by Rule 38(a). It highlights the most common mistakes observed by the Clerk's Office. By following these guidelines you may help to expedite the processing of your petition. If you have questions, they should be directed to either a new case analyst or the Chief Deputy Clerk. This memorandum is useful also for those preparingappeals under Rule 18.
